About OkayForm

OkayForm helps foreigners in Czechia renew their residence permit themselves: in English, without an agency, and with every fact taken from official sources.

Who runs OkayForm

OkayForm is run by Alexander Seipel, one person in Prague. Contact details and the legal information are in the imprint.

The Ministry of the Interior explains a lot in English, and its application forms have English labels. But the forms must be filled in in Czech, and a wrong form or a missing document can delay a renewal. Agencies charge thousands of crowns to do it for you, and free advice centres have only so much time.

OkayForm is the middle way. You answer simple questions in English and get your Czech application form filled in, a checklist of the documents for your case, and your deadlines, for CZK 990. You check it, sign it and submit it yourself.

How we keep the content correct

  • Official sources only. Every rule, document, fee and deadline comes from the law (zakonyprolidi.cz), the Ministry of the Interior's pages for foreigners (ipc.gov.cz, mv.gov.cz, portal.gov.cz) or the application forms themselves. Agency pages and forums are only leads that we check.
  • A source and a date on every fact. Each item in the kit shows where it comes from and the day we last checked it against that source.
  • A check every week. Every week, an automatic check reads the official pages and application forms and tells us when something changes. If an application form changes, we stop selling the kit for it until we have updated it.
  • The careful reading. Where official sources don't say the same thing, we choose the careful side: one document too many rather than one too few, and an earlier deadline rather than a later one.

We last checked the content on 1 Oct 2026. It holds 87 facts, each with its own source and date.

Our weekly check identifies itself to the websites it reads like this:

Independent

OkayForm is an independent service. It is not affiliated with the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic or any other authority, and it doesn't use state symbols.

What OkayForm is not

  • Not legal advice. OkayForm is software with general information. It can't judge your individual situation.
  • Not representation. We don't act for you before the ministry or any other authority.
  • We don't submit anything. You fill in, you sign and you submit your application yourself. We don't book appointments either.
  • No promises about the outcome. Only the ministry decides on your application.
  • No storage of your answers. Your answers and passport details stay in your browser; see the privacy policy.

For questions about your own situation, the free help page lists free advice centres and how to find a lawyer.
